Christine Rhodes is the Market Leader of EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice for Ontario. With a background in finance and risk management, Christine has spent her career working with clients in diverse industries – both issuers and investors - to help them understand and manage critical environmental and social risks and impacts. Christine’s work is primarily focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk; strategy and implementation; and, disclosure but also includes strategic support on ESG topics such as climate change; health, safety and environment (HSE) management; and, social impact.
Prior to her career in sustainability, Christine was based in Boston, supporting leading financial services firms on operational risk management issues. She also spent three years based in EY’s Vancouver office.
Christine is a member of the Board of Directors of the Responsible Gambling Council (Prevention) and a former Director of the Global Cannabis Partnership, two organizations dedicated to the establishment of corporate responsibility standards for their respective industries. She received a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from McGill University and holds her Canadian Enterprise Risk Management (CRMe) designation.
